Mississippi Division Convention at Beauvoir
The Mississippi Division Reunion will be held this year at Beauvoir June 9-11, 2023. It will be hosted by the 5th Brigade of the Miss. Div. of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
Beauvoir was built between 1848-1852 by James Brown from Canton, MS. Pres. Davis purchased the property from Sarah Dorsey in 1877 and lived there until his death in 1889. It was sold to the UCV in 1903 where it became a Confederate Soldier's Home until 1957. It then became a museum to Jefferson Davis and the Confederate Soldier.
